As the sanctuary grows, our Veterinary Advisor provide expert guidance on the medical, ethical, and wellness needs of the animals in our care. This advisor will support intake evaluations, preventative health plans, and trauma-informed protocols—ensuring that every rescue at Penelope’s Pondstead receives the highest standard of humane, respectful care. Their role will be central to maintaining not just animal survival, but animal dignity.
Our Regenerative Agriculture Advisor help guide the sanctuary’s land use toward long-term ecological health. From rotational grazing and composting to native pasture restoration and water management, this advisor will help shape sustainable systems that nourish both soil and soul. Their expertise will support our goal of turning neglected land into a thriving, resilient homestead that feeds people, animals, and the planet.
To ensure Penelope’s Pondstead grows with transparency, structure, and long-term viability, we will engage a trusted Nonprofit & Legal Advisor. This advisor will assist with governance, compliance, contracts, and strategic planning—helping us stay mission-aligned, legally protected, and fiscally responsible as we scale. Their insight will support the backbone of the sanctuary so we can stay focused on what matters most.
At the heart of Penelope’s Pondstead is not just rescue—but reconnection. Our Outreach and Education Coordinator helps design and deliver meaningful, trauma-informed programs that bring people closer to the land, the animals, and themselves.
This role will lead public workshops, school visits, and family events focused on animal care, regenerative farming, and holistic living. They’ll ensure that every person who steps onto the sanctuary leaves with new knowledge, a sense of peace, and the tools to grow something—whether that’s a tomato, a habit, or a life of purpose.
